Part III
In Part II, I told you about some of the [ad]ventures I’ve had over the years as an entrepreneur. Some were amazing, and some were a total flash in the pan. These days, I’m more focused on my urban street-wear brand, Royal Dynamite, where I’m the co-founder, and my investment portfolio.
Royal Dynamite
August 2022, marked 12 years of running Royal Dynamite as a business. It’s been quite a journey and it’s been the best experience I’ve had so far with my entrepreneurial exploits. My business partner, Raphael Saye, and I started this venture as young boys and have literally grown into men with families of our own. We have had a roller-coaster of a ride, some very high highs, for instance when we partnered with Issa Rae a few years ago to do a few collaborations and when we launched our Freetown Collection. I am also really proud of our recent collaboration with Sierra Leonean soccer star, Kei Kamara. I’m not forgetting the lows, with so many to list I don’t even know where to start. Like any business, it hasn’t always been a glamorous journey.
